Hey y’all. We've officially postponed Creative South this year and have set a new date for April 8-10th, 2021. We recommend you fly in on the evening of the 7th. While we had a new date sooner (during Oct/Nov), with all the uncertainty of the next few months, we felt it was unsafe to commit to those dates closer in the future with the concern of having to postpone yet again. We're really excited to see everyone next year.
In the meantime, we welcome you to come be a part of the family with us in our community Slack group here. Give us a bit and we'll finish getting some of the technical and logistical things in place, but we wanted to get you all an update ASAP.

Hey y’all. We have made the very difficult decision to postpone our Creative South Family Reunion until later this year. We care deeply about our community and want to make sure everyone can join us as we celebrate 10 years. This should be a time of celebration and nostalgia and even with all of the confetti and ribs, we couldn’t help but feel like it would be overshadowed by concern. Community is an investment and though we will have to wait a bit to see the return, we are confident that it will pay off with interest See y’all at the Family Reunion. For the full breakdown and any available info, please watch the video above.

While we don't know what the future will hold, we are monitoring the situation around the clock and meeting almost daily as a team about it. At the moment, we have no plans to cancel the event and are proceeding forward as scheduled. We'll be releasing a new update probably weekly going forward to keep everyone in the loop.
As you know, we’re all about hugging necks and breaking bread at Creative South. More importantly, we’re about keeping everybody safe. We’re monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely. We are following the recommendations of the CDC and our local health department regarding operations and precautions around the event. The risk to the general public remains low at this time. We know there’s a lot of uncertainty about this, but we do know that personal hygiene is really important to stopping the spread of flu-like viruses like this one.
👏 Wash your hands for 20 seconds and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
🤧 When coughing and sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue – then throw the tissue in the trash
🐽 Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
🏠 Stay home if you have cold or flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath
🤒 If you start to feel sick at the conference, please stay in your hotel room. Please contact our staff immediately via the live chat tool on our website and we'll help you out.
Cleaning protocols have been increased at the venue facility and they will be working around the clock to keep things clean, with additional soap and sanitizers stocked. We do encourage you to bring your own travel hand sanitizers as well.
As a result of working with our local and federal public health agencies, Creative South is still proceeding as planned with safety as our top priority. We’ll continue to update you as the event draws closer. We can’t wait to see y’all at the reunion! 🍑
