KICKOFF MIXER

AIN'T NO PARTY LIKE A BRIDGE PARTY

Fireworks, food, friends, fun and drinks...oh my! This year's Kickoff Mixer on Thursday, April 6th is slated to be the best one yet. As mentioned above the usual suspects will be there and a fun new surprise! Want to know what it is? Then make sure to show up! Bridge entrances opens at 7pm. Please bring your ID (21+ to drink) and Creative South registration information. Event is open to Creative South attendees only. 

We all turn into pumpkins at 11pm as we are encouraged to make our way off the bridge. However, the party can continue on the 1000-1100 Block of Broadway in Downtown Columbus. 

The Kickoff Bridge Party Mixer is our thank you for attending and supporting Creative South!

ADOBE CREATIVE JAM

This is a challenge where you and a friend team up and choose one of the categories below. Your team will have 3 hours to complete the project using Creative Cloud before presenting to the audience and judges.

  • 3:00 PM - Theme is Revealed - NO RULES!
  • 6:00 PM - Projects must be completed and teams prepare to take the stage!

Any Creative South attendee can participate. There will only be 5 teams per category. Sign up early to secure a slot. The 4 categories to compete are:

  • Photography
  • Graphic Design
  • Motion Design
  • UX Design

We encourage you to select a team name. Matching outfits optional. #CreativeJam

INKWARS X

ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND [INK] WAR

Gather around to watch some seriously talented artists race the clock to create a massive piece on an 4 x 6 foot canvas. Artists have one-hour and black ink markers to complete their drawing of the secret theme that is only revealed to them moments before the timer is set. 

Bystanders get to sit back with a stiff drink and watch the magic happen. 

Ink Wars takes place at 9pm on the Bridge during the Kickoff Mixer. Just another reason you don't want to miss this party.
